December 2019 - Steve’s widow (Shari) finally gets recognition papers from the 911 Victims Compensation Fund and WTC Health Program. This is required before you can submit paperwork to the National Police Memorial
April 2020 – All the required paperwork is submitted to the National Police Memorial. They do not vote on new submissions until October.
October 2020 – Shari and I receive a letter from the National Police Memorial confirming that Steve is a LODD.
January 2022 – I submitted Steve’s name to NAWEOA for recognition. I didn’t submit his name in 2021 because there was no conference. I actually copied you on this email.
